BNSF Not Impacted by Microsoft Outage

BNSF is closely monitoring the widespread Microsoft outage affecting many businesses, including some of the other railroads. Currently, there is no indication that BNSF systems or operations have been impacted by this outage. The specific security software provider linked to the Microsoft outage is not used on BNSF systems. BNSF currently uses alternate software not impacted by the outage. BNSF remains in contact with Microsoft and the other railroads and will continue to monitor the situation closely.
